Emma Khan is an artist, illustrator, and founder of Paper Script — a paper goods brand rooted in the intersection of medicine, empathy, and visual storytelling. With over a decade of experience in printmaking, letterpress, and analog design, she has worked across creative roles spanning signage, illustration, content creation, and production press operation.
Her work is grounded in thoughtful design that communicates care — from medically-informed greeting cards to teaching the tactile beauty of printmaking. She has worked for brands such as Trader Joe's and Parachute Home, assisted in letterpress production on Heidelberg and Vandercook presses, and has supported academic and archaeological projects through illustration and materials design.
Emma is also the co-creator of Sundry Workshops,
a community-focused project offering creative classes and analog learning experiences in Chattanooga, TN. In addition, she writes Khantext, a Substack newsletter that is part design journal, part personal archive — tracing threads between her work in paper goods, workshops, and visual essays.
She values meaningful connection through shared creative experiences and is especially drawn to projects that blend design with purpose — particularly in print, wellness, and collaborative studio environments.
